Story
Plagued by nightmares of torture and intense violence, a writer suffering from trauma-induced memory loss seeks to solve the mystery of his missing past. The only clue is a single page of an unfinished manuscript found in an old manual typewriter, in a fleabag motel, in a small West Virginian town called Luntville. It is here that the writer will seek answers, believing that if he finishes the book he was writing, his memories will return.

Story
On December 21, 2012, according to the Mayan Calendar, the world was supposed to end. It didn't. But on that day, 113 mysterious manuscripts were discovered around the world, each one written in blood by an unknown author. After several dozen unexplained deaths befell the finders of said manuscripts, a decision was made to lock them up for good in a secret vault beneath the Vatican. It is said that anyone who reads the stories will die, and as such they are now referred to as "The Cursed Manuscripts."

SUSPENSE STORIES TO KEEP YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT There is a peculiar allure of insidious characters—and especially assassins, hitmen, contract killers, and their ilk. Perhaps we find their uncomplicated moral codes and brutal efficiency appealing. These characters care little about ethics or morals—and perhaps that alone, that freedom from guilt, is exactly why we love them. Perhaps, deep down, we wish we could be like them. And perhaps, by reading stories with such characters, we can vicariously experience that thrill. PROPULSIVE, SUSPENSEFUL CRIME FICTIONWith this fascination ...

Drew Blood is all you need to know
Absolutely loved this book and all the stories. All I needed to hear was Wrath James White! But then they had to throw in K. Trap Jones, Triana, and all my other faves. And then hit me with the biggest bang of the ultimate narrator, DREW BLOOD!!!

Redneck & Hillbilly Horror!
After having heard the audio sample and fell in love with Mr. Blood's voice, I was excited to try this southern horror audiobook out! Glad that I did with how amazing Blood was with drawing me into the stories! Although a couple of stories I didn't gel with, majority of them were great and again, Blood bought them to life with his amazing range of southern voices! A perfect blend of gore, horror, and humor as well! Highly recommend checking this audiobook out if you are looking for some redneck/hillbilly horror with a phenomenal narrater!

Not horror, not extreme anything but bad taste
Drew always gets 5 stars, but this was “Hee Haw” on bad drugs. Over-sexed and under-thought. Imagine a foul mouthed podcast done to make fun of Southern accents. Badly.
