Long awaited sequel
I have been waiting so long and patiently for a sequel in this amazing fantasy steam punk esque book that manages to include a complex cat society. This novella was well worth the listen but wish I could have more hrs of listening to this awesome Jim Butcher series!

Worth the wait!
Even though this story takes place in a complicated universe, the story can be followed even if you don't feel like a re-read. Characters are vivid and story is compelling. Now i'm on to the next addition!!

entertaining novella
a fun, action-packed appetizer for the series. so great to get Benedict's POV. Entertaining, well-drawn supporting characters and you can't go wrong with more cats IMO

Great addition, but…

Great story
Can’t wait for the next one. This was enough to slake my thirst… for now. These Cinder Spires stories are Jim’s finest work so far, and I’m a huge fan of Dresden files which isn’t quite as good.
