What we now call different religions should be known as different denominations or sects under that one universal religion.

As a matter of fact, it is ludicrous to say that there are two religions, when there is but one God. There may be two denominations or sects, but there is only one religion. What we now call different religions should be known as different denominations or sects under that one universal religion.

More expansive on Lahore Mahasaya’s life
This was a great follow up book to what I first learned about this great teacher in the book Autobiography of a Yogi. I like that it expands more detail on the practice of Kriya Yoga which is what I was hoping for.

Wonderful book. 2nd appendix has Yoganandaji's written description of the Kriya proper meditation practice, plus mahamudra, and jyoti mudra. These are priceless!

Poor pronunciation of terms
It’s a pity that ALL books that this reader record are so wrong in the pronunciation of all Gurus names and Sanskrit terms. The very minimum that such a reader should do, if he seems to be a devotee of the yogic paths and masters, is learning the proper pronunciation of the terms. After all, most the native English Speakers complains all the time when foreigners mispronounce their own language.

No new stories
OK, this is written for SRF / YSS Kriyabans. Other than some family details, there are no new stories. PY tells them better in AY. Appendix A does have some details on the yugas but Appendix B is a publication of PY's original instruction on Kriya techniques! Yikes!
Praise to the Yogavatar but I wanted more!
