Publisher's summary

Bruce thinks he is helping mankind and playing his part in saving the planet when he develops his serum for speeding up the development of lab-grown cultured meat.

What Bruce has actually done is send us to the bottom of the food chain. Well, not all the way to the bottom. We are still above ducks. Nobody gets eaten by a duck.

Amusing Horror Story

I found this story entertaining. Simon Carr wrote a tale in which his main protagonist, named Bruce, planned to help mankind when things went wrong. The story was amusing and horrifying at the same time, but also thought-provoking as it pointed to the possible danger posed by science experimentation. Geoffrey Boyes' narration was great, and his performance added to the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Funny scary.

Funny. Scary. Strange characters. Qwerty events. Silly. Gross. Even violent. Eaten by insects. Yes, very gross. You'll love it!
I received an Audible version of this book from the author through Story Origin. The narrator was outstanding. 5 stars for him.

Wacky Aussie Humor combined with crazy Scifi tale

What can you say ! The story is wild, the dialog bizarre, and only an Aussie would know what a witchetty grub is.... Good tucker!
Unbutton your brain, crawl out of your box and allow this tale to consume you. If your mind is too constrained, it will surely give you a headache.!

Bizarre and Entertaining

Witchetty-Woo is one truly bizarre book that kept me laughing from chapter one until the end. In man's need for greed, a formula was created that caused environmental havoc. The subject matter was serious, but with such a comedic Sci Fi twists that one couldn't help but be intrigued and invested to know how everything would play out. I highly recommend this unique Aussie story for anyone who likes Sci Fi and horror with a large heaping port5of comedy. I received this book for free upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased review here of my own volition. In my opinion, this book is a MUST READ or LISTEN because the narrator just gives the story life and giggles.
