2. Sometimes saying no is difficult, but this can impact your life negatively as anxiety rises when you stretch yourself too thin. Learning when to say yes or no is essential to feeling comfortable with others and yourself.
3. Boundaries allow you to feel safe and calm in relationships, setting certain expectations and needs that help you stay emotionally and mentally well. Otherwise, overwhelming feelings, resentment, avoidance, and other issues can ensue.
4. Avoidance is a result of a lack of boundaries, causing people to delay dealing with issues, in a passive-aggressive way. This will not prevent conflicts, and might prolong the only solution, which is learning how to be assertive while communicating your limitations to others.
