Sound advice for raising kids in general. Encapsulated how I’ve been handling things myself over the last few years, happy to hear I’m not alone. Much good advice in here on how to raise not only conservative, but healthy kids.

Great parent guide

If I was a young mother in today’s toxic environment, this book would be a wonderful aid in raising your child with grace and humor. The “no flinch rule” is an especially imporant tool to use with your chikdren ot all ages of their development! I listened to the entire book at one sitting and highly recconmend it to all young parents!

Wise and witty read

Too much good to list! I so appreciate the thoughtful details, practical advice, and strategies laid out by the authors. Narrator: speaks so slowly needed to do 1.2 or 1.5 to make it palatable.

Just what I needed

Pros: I feel like no other parenting book is required (okay, not totally but this covers a lot). This book can help you understand what's really going on in the world and how to stop it from hurting you and your children.

Cons: Too many footnotes in the non-audible version. Just put it in the main body.

becoming a better person

I learned that being a parent makes me a better person. I never really thought of it that way. I have seasons of grueling through this season of life and other seasons of enjoyment. Your book really showed me that what I set out to do can be beautiful and not grueling. It can be masterful and not only defeating. Your firm stance on “you are the program” made me realize that I have the strength to do what I often have been plagued by fear to do.
There were parts of the book that I thought: well, I royally fucked that up. But that’s not the end of the story. It’s good that I mess up, but keep showing up.
I learned that I need to research and learn more about social issues and politics, and I need to dive in a little deeper for the sake of being a part of the conversation. I often explain that to my kids that to read the book, article, watch the movie etc, helps you to be able to join the conversation.
I’m so proud of this book. I literally cried at the end.

This is a great book! I have 3 young children and this book gives precious guidance on how to deal with all the woke BS broadcasting from from the left in our institutions. I love the specific tips and proactive approach to setting up our kids for success.

Truth Matters Most

Phenomenal book with practical, helpful, and encouraging insights for parents, anchored on the truth. Telling the truth matters most. “Sanctify them in the truth, your word is truth.” John 17:17

Condescending voice

This book made some great points that as a mother, will probably adopt. It often felt like these points had to be made while putting others down, however. The delivery of this audible also felt and sounded condescending.
