Publisher's summary

Moonstone Bay is a paranormal island with an attitude, and Hadley Hunter is a heroine with a heart only equal to her mouth.

Hadley never knew she was a witch but she’s more than happy to learn on the job. Her boyfriend Galen Blackwood, the local sheriff, has her back at every turn. That’s on top of her half-demon best friend, a prickly cupid with a romance problem, and the local siren who wants to fight rather than make friends.

Hadley might be a novice but she’s powerful, and her friends are going to need her on an island like Moonstone Bay. She’s more than happy to serve, and together they are strong.

Note: This three-book omnibus includes Long, Hot Witchy Summer, Great Hexpectations, and The Joy of Hex.

Love these cozy mysteries

Especially the crossovers with other series. However, it is a little frustrating when something happens in a previous book and isn’t carried forward in following book. For example, Sammy heals Lilac in book 8 but Lilac is back to previous issue with her demon powers needing venting in book 9.

Pronounciation!

I enjoy this series a lot and I'll keep listening to them all. But the narrator needs to learn how to pronounce some words, like Aisling is pronounced Ashling not Aizling; athame is athamay not atheem. And why does Galen sometimes sound like Geelen?
