Healing Through Understanding

I struggled with conflicts in my family and with my partner due to my narcissistic behavior. Admitting I had this personality trait was hard, but I wanted to change and improve my relationships. I found this book and it has been a crucial guide in my journey to overcoming narcissism. It made me realize how my behavior was impacting those around me. This book has helped me become more self-aware and confident, and has improved my connections with my loved ones. Something I’ve never seen before

In all of the many self-help, psychology, and spiritual books I’ve read, I have never, ever, ever come across one that identifies wether the reader is actually the narcissist and is trying to heal their behavior! This was such a breath air to me that the author was not simply demonizing personality types and meets them eye-to-eye with a level of compassion and understanding which I believe is imperative for truly healing-we can’t heal as a collective by looking down upon each other! We must have compassion and realize that any of these behaviors come from deep wounds in our youth that need to be healed. Even though, I will admit that this is hard to do sometimes when someone is acting way out of line. I would go so far as to say that we all have a little but of narcissism within us that collectively needs to be looked at with compassion and healed. And this is really what I love about ‘Healing Haven’–the courageous and unique viewpoint of meeting these kinds of personality types and behaviors with the aforementioned understanding and objective lens which is so so so needed, especially in this day and age. A great self-help title. PS: There is also tons of knowledge of empaths which is fascinating and helpful.
