Publisher's summary

An Orks novel.

Ghazghkull Thraka, the Beast of Armageddon, is one of the greatest threats to the Imperium. For the first time, hear his full story...as told to the Inquisition by his faithful banner bearer Makari.

Listen to it because: for the first time, get a grot's-eye view of the inexorable rise of the greatest ork warboss since the Great Beast, in a novel packed with all the action and dark humour you'd expect from an ork tale.

The story: of the billions of greenskins who swarm the galaxy, the name of one strikes fear into the hearts of human and xenos alike—Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka.

The Warlord of Warlords.

The Beast of Armageddon.

The Prophet of the Waaagh!

With his tusks, fists and power claw, he does the holy work of Gork and Mork—and soon all worlds will burn in his bootprints.

Mystery shrouds the origins of such a beast. Rumours abound that the mighty warlord was once just like any other ork—but if that is the case, how did he rise from a lowly lad to the biggest of bosses? Many have lost their minds trying to unravel the secrets behind his rise, and Lord Inquisitor Tytonida Falx is no different. She has headed into the murky depths of heresy to find the answer—but this time, something is different. This time, she has something the others did not. She has custody of the one creature in the universe who claims to know the truth of it all—Ghazghkull’s banner bearer: Makari the Grot.

Written by Nate Crowley. Narrated by Kelly Hotten, Paul Putner and Jon Rand.

Humies must read!

About time da boyz got a book! Plenty of dakka dakka, lots of talkies from da orks. Da galaxy gonna be green, so any humies best read da book. (Loved this book; simply superb! Orks are front and center, with story told in a way that is orky but also easy to follow and understand.)

Don't own orks... now I get green.

for not being an Ork player but having 3 friend's who play orks and win alot.... I now will have a bit of lore and understanding of how I loose lol really good book! entertaining all the way through, Ork logic makes no sense, or I suppose it does in a vary simple way lol.

Propah Orky

A gripping epic of one of the 'ardest boys to ever krump. Each VA brings their best and paints a tone in their very own way. The single, 1 minute long contrivance of orcs being they/them is whatever and never, ever comes back up further on. Reviews judging the entire work on that alone omit just how enjoyable the other 99% of the story is.

Fantastic

What a great read. I have the book as well and loved it.
But the effort, character and life put forth through narration is top notch.

for the Great Green

Great Orky Book

Book is great! Ork perspective is simultaneously amazingly orky and incredibly interesting. Inquistor perspective is pretty good, can drag on but the orks in those sections definitely carry the day.
