Publisher's summary

As the bodies of the innocent pile up, everything must change...

It’s been a year of peace. Now it's over. A vicious and mysterious assassin surfaces in the tiny town of Millinocket, and there’s only one conceivable reason for their presence.

As King and Slater watch those they know added to the body count, their world begins to shift: their desire for a normal existence is irreconcilable with the brutal reality of their lives. They’re in Groundhog Day, hunted again and again by malevolent forces, and something has to change. Decisions must be made, changes that will shape their lives forever.

This time, it’s different…

I love these books. So sad to see them end. That’s all I have to say.

Relentless

Wow!! King & Slater are back at it again. With their history and legend status, the hunt seems to never end! Lots of pulse pounding action!

Why I Stopped Reviewing A Great Series

I stopped reviewing, not because I stopped enjoying or buying the series, BUT because Google Play sent me messages about ALL REVIEWS being used to disclose the location and coordinates of the person reviewing and their phone or tablet. It's unnecessary and dangerous to the privacy of those who review...and it flat out sucks!! I probably won't review again for that very reason. 🙄😤

However, I need to let the author and narrator know just how immensely GOOD this story is and the worth it has. I've learned about things like Dal (lentil soup) being fantastic nutrition for mountain climbers, who have nutritional needs most doing a day2day grind never think of...or that movie magic is just that...not always factual, which explains why the villain always wakes up quickly at the end, perhaps more crazed due to deprivation of bodily function. I've seen King and Slater grow and mature emotionally with women (love 💕💞Violetta and Alexis) by their sides who are Actually Strong, not just stupidly talking as if they can do What They Haven't Trained For, then putting others in danger because of their egos. Nobody would willingly let an untrained person be their EMT or brain surgeon, yet we're all supposed to believe gender and mouthiness negates training🤦🏾, yeah right!!

Will trains his son Tyrell, telling the Truth as he knows it, preparing him for whatever comes instead of keeping him "ignorant" which isn't really "protection" at all. Teaching him to train his body, eat right, look at the big picture, then focus on what part(s) he can actually affect or change instead of leaving him to be blindsided...wise parenting!!! Wish more authors did this. Kids become adults... and Evil Loves to Hurt Innocents, especially those with no capacity to fight back or know what to do to get away. How many more kids would live longer, escape faster or never get taken at all if they had some realistic preparation. USA hasn't been war-torn since the Civil War, but that doesn't mean it won't ever be again.

I know the series is coming to an end. Hate that!! Please put the Slater series on Audible. I got through 3rd book on King within the 7 days (only 7, as if nobody has anything else to do but listen all day...better to give 2 weeks...14-15 days) but couldn't finish the rest. I'll eventually buy them anyways. This is 1 of the few series I'll relisten to with relish.

Compromised

King and Slater are finished and have been five books ago because they have lost their nerve. Everything about King and Slater in this book was disappointing.

Read whole Series….but….

I have read every King and Slater book including their singles. But this one lacks the depth of story and the typical vision of issues and just simple good yarn. Boring and lackluster. Hope it turns around or e look se just stop on a high note. Can’t recommend it.
