Back to the Crux of the Series
If you have gotten to #19 in the series you must like it. Thus, this will be brief. The crux of these stories is always the unexpected and well-illustrated choices made by unexpected and interesting individuals. Some of the stories reached the outer edges of this exploration. This one, satisfyingly, is dead in the sweet spot. It is like the sound a ball makes when a hitter swings easy and FULLY connects with the pitch.

At every turn in the story, I thought for sure that was the moment Evan was going to get a new life! I honestly didn't know how the story would wrap up so perfectly wonderful! Another home run! Is the Poodle Dog still open? I haven't been there in at least 20 years!

Loved it!
This book did not disappoint! Every single middlefalls book I read I say to my self “oh that one was my favorite”. I said the same thing with this book. I don’t think I will ever get tired of this series so if he can just keep writing them for the rest of my life i will read them 💜
