It’s time that Nikki and Joseph went further!!! It’s been YEARS!!! Very clever use of different voices for characters - so consistent over the books

So far this is my favourite Galena vook. Joy Ellis has pulled me right into the series as well as the Fens' quiet appeal.

Deceive Nikki is interesting and deep. If she was real- would love to meet her & know her! Great writing!

The narrator 😭

I love these stories and I completely respect the narrator but her voice is difficult to listen to. The story gets lost in the narration for me.

Plot was enjoyable

This was much better than book 3 which I didn’t like. I’m definitely going to continue the series

More Nikki Galena And Team

I had to downgrade the narration this time because some of the women's voices were uncomfortably screechy. I know its a struggle to come up with different tones, tenors and accents for such a wide variety of characters. But those voices, especially under stress were un-listenable.

My favorite author

Anything Joy Ellis writes is fantastic. I also think the Nikki Galena series is probably my favorite. Although I really love listening to Richard Armatage though!!
