The characters were colorful

A bit too repetitive with the story. Things that were mentioned before in the previous other stories were repeated too many times in the next book. Seems like they needed fillers.

Great characters

I Love the easy listening and getting to know the characters more in each book.

Bows and Arrows

Mae receives the key to the city and a six week stint teaching at the high school. While celebrating the find the archery coach dead. Mae takes his class and Hank gives her permission to snoop.

The characters live in a trailer park. A clean forested park.

I feel as though I’m a guest among the park residents who haven’t the modern phony attitudes. Down to earth older for the most part ladies. A comfy place where a murder or two are becoming normal. In a town called Normal.

Very light and cozy mysteries

Yes, I have listened as far as book 5 and will probably continue. That said, there are a few things I would change. 1) get an editor. There are some excruciatingly bad passages and numerous continuity issues in the series. Some are clearly plot devices but others make the series feel like it was written by different people. 2) do some research. Anyone with basic awareness will be baffled by some of the errors. Insurance doesn’t work like that, law enforcement doesn’t work like that, dog breeding…etc. every book there is some key piece that would ring a lot truer if some basic research had been done.
The books are fun, cute, simple to digest and in an attractive setting… but these are Real Housewives not Shakespeare. Definitely try to get them on sale.

Fun Read

I love the narrator, she does an awesome job of bring the characters to life. These are fun brain candy. I love listening to them when traveling.
