Resumen del Editor

New York Times best-selling author J. A. Redmerski brings us the breathtaking sequel to her novel The Edge of Never.

When everything falls apart, love remains...

The Edge of Always

Camryn Bennett has never been happier. Five months after meeting on a Greyhound bus, she and her soul mate Andrew Parrish are engaged - and a wedding isn't the only special event in their future. Nervous but excited, Camryn can't wait to begin the rest of her life with Andrew, a man she knows in her heart will love her always. They have so much to look forward to-until tragedy blindsides them.

Andrew doesn't understand how this could happen to them. He's trying to move on, and thought Camryn was doing the same. But when Andrew discovers Camryn is secretly harboring a mountain of pain and attempting to numb it in damaging ways, there is nothing he won't do to bring her back to life. Determined to prove that their love can survive anything, Andrew decides to take Camryn on a new journey filled with hope and passion. If only he can convince her to come along for the ride...

Nice sequel

More angst to this perfect example of New Adult. Engaging writing and narration. Nice HEA.

Wonderful addicting book

Such a great follow up to the edge of never. The only thing that bugged me was different narrators then the first book.

Wish They Had Used The Same Narrator For This One!

I loved the follow up on Camryn and Andrew's story, however I don't know why they changed narrators...it completely changed the feel of the book for me. I thought Lauren Fortgang did a PHENOMENAL job with The Edge of Never! She had the perfect cadence, timing and tone for both characters...and really brought them to life for me. Switching to these two narrators did not do the book justice and I could not get nearly as wrapped up in the characters as I did with the first book (which I listened to about 4 times!).

So, while I loved hearing the ending to Camryn and Andrew's journey....it just didn't have the same vibrant feel as the first book.

Sweet and Sexy

This is a continuation of Camryn and Andrew's romance. They have made the decision to change their destiny and life just keeps getting in the way. The events that happy are totally believable. You can see how it is so easy to get moving in the wrong direction. Andrew sees that Camryn is going down a bad path and if he is to save their relationship and Cam he needs to get them back to where they were on the road. This part of the story encompasses their journey and how they refuse to take the path 99% of couples take. This is a great romance novel that is sweet and just an easy listen. There is no over the top sex scenes or huge dramatic events but is not boring either. It is written a bit like S.C. Stephen books. I do like that that author chose to have a dual narration. She does change the female narrator but it works.

Change of Pace from The Edge of Never

Would you consider the audio edition of The Edge of Always to be better than the print version?

I didn't read the print version. I was hesitant to listen to this book after reading the reviews of others. I really liked Lauren Fortgang's performance, however, this book has a different feel to it and requires a different voice.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Edge of Always?

The night at the beach at the beginning of the road trip.

Which scene was your favorite?

I had two -- the wedding and the final scene that brings finality to the story.

Any additional comments?

I listened to another of Daniel May's performances and liked his voice, so gave this a try. He did a good job -- although the other book I listened to, his character was much older. The post-production of this needed some help -- there was a section that was repeated.

Andrew Parrish & Camryn MaryBeth Bennett

*****SPOILER ALERT*****

Audible review. Dual POV. Book 2 of 2. I enjoyed both narrators but the intro and finalé music drives me nuts. Trigger warnings: miscarriage just after 4 months, Andrew & Camryn are given an hallucinogenic drug while partying with people they didn't know & Andrew is sexually assaulted.

Andrew (25/26 DOB 21JAN) & Camryn (20/21 DOB 08DEC) spend time in TX while Andrew recovers after having his brain tumor removed, they travel after miscarrying their first daughter, get married in TX, buy a house, give birth to their healthy daughter: Lily Marybeth, and then travel with her until she begins school. The epilogue covers their daughter's high school graduation, more travel for Andrew & Camryn, all of the other relevant characters are mentioned to update their current lives, and Lily's intention to travel with her boyfriend is introduced as well as their future career paths. The Edge is where you stay in heart and mind

Where does The Edge of Always rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This series is in my top 5 now. After reading the second book, I have to say, it's one you won't forget. "EVER"

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Edge of Always?

Without a doubt, is the second visit to New Orleans. I know exactly the mindset Camryn was in there, and to have Andrew understand it made me cry. She was right, and for him to understand her with one explanation, was key.. and who can forget the Beach scene with new friends. Andrew always being Cam's protector.

Which scene was your favorite?

I love when they finally get to sleep under the stars with the cows, and wake in the morning with them.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had so many in this second addition. I cannot pick one without out giving so much away. Again, these two were made for one another. Andrew was truly an angel sent to Camryn to love. They know each other's heart, what the other needs to bring them to one healing point. Truly to the very end. a love story without failing.

Any additional comments?

J.A. Redmerski, is a terrific writer, She puts you into the minds of her characters. She did that in her first book and of course this is no disappointment. Andrew love for Camryn grows even stronger as she struggles with what life gives her to deal with. Yes, they hurt, Yes, they overcome it. But Andrew as much as he hurts, he thinks only of her, bringing her to him, seeing only him and what they mean to one another. These books are amazing. The author is great at what she does. Thank you for bringing these two young adults, parents, and more to our attention. And readers, again, another winner from the writer and these two narrators are Outstanding. Enjoy, this series, , you have once again all the emotions of the first, but with such uplifting stories to leave with and to live, love, and go by.. You won't regret a word of knowing Andrew and Camryn's story.. I can't wait to re-read it from the day they met on that bus.. I loved them.. Enjoy it all Andrew and Cam.. This would make an excellent Lifetime Story.. Hint..Hint....

Good 2nd Book

This book was not as good as the first book but it was still good. It was good to hear the HEA for Cam and Andrew.

There are new narrators for this book. I loved the addition of the male narrator. I did like the female narrator in the first book better but this narrator was ok and I adjusted to her portrayal of Cam.

Annoying music at beginning & end

What’s up with the annoying music that plays as the book begins and ends. It was hard to even hear the narration and couldn’t be turned off.

Total Letdown!

What about Daniel May and Leslie Bellair ’s performance did you like?

The audio was really good, the only part I found annoying was the voices of Andrew's brothers. Luckily they weren't in it that much.

Any additional comments?

I bought the Edge of Never in eBook format only. The further I got in to the book the more I kept thinking that I should have bought it on audio. It was so good that I decided to buy the Edge of Always on audio. Total letdown.

The Edge of Never pulled at your heartstrings and the relationship between Camryn and Andrew was intense. The sex scenes were so hot. I couldn't put it down. The Edge of Always didn't even come close to the emotion and hot scenes as the Edge of Never did.

I hate it when an author skips scenes in a book. They would be going to a bar, then the next line was they were leaving the bar. What happened while they were in the bar? To me, these scenes are important, it shows the interaction between the characters and builds up the relationship and the "hotness" of the book. They would be heading to the hotel to have sex, the next line is they are waking up. This happens quite a bit in this book. This did not happen at all in the Edge of Never. There were also parts of the book where it would be, "one month later", then eventually, "one year later". I want to know what happened during that time.

I felt there was a bunch of the storyline left out. It didn't even feel like the same author that wrote the Edge of Never. It seemed rushed about halfway through the book. Just hurry and throw in a few things so the author can be done writing it.

A book I thought would be as amazing as the first fell flat. Stick with the Edge of Never and don't bother with this one.

SPOILER ALERT!

She has a miscarriage in the beginning of the book, then later in the book it cuts to a scene xx years later and she's giving birth. There is nothing in the book about her finding out she's pregnant the second time or about her pregnancy. I find this to be a huge storyline and important to the characters, especially considering the first pregnancy go round, to just be left out of the entire book.
