Science helping shed light on history/religion!

I'm not the best with reviews, but if you're into science and facts supporting ideas that challenge the rigidity of what seems to be a false narrative force-fed to us as truth through modern day academia, then this will be up your alley. All of that told very elegantly but without overwhelming the audience with big words or scientific jargon. I hope you enjoy!

A comprehensive new lense

I dont think I've ever written a review for anything I've read since college but this book is exceptional. It is so much more than a book about occasional historic 'drug use'. This book, better than any other I've read, offers an undeniably sound timeline of continued ceremonial psychedelic use spanning back to some of our earliest known human artifacts. Simultaneous to pulling together this astonishing timeline of psychedelic use Brian graciously uncovers a not so surprising multi millenia effort by the Church to eliminate this ancient tradition.

Very fascinating book! Brain did a wonderful job making this book interesting and well explained. It has sparked an interest in me.

Mind Blown!

Just wow! Despite the well documented history of wantan destruction by the Catholic Church in the name of God, I was still disgusted by the details uncovered in this book. Now I understand why the Church stopped at nothing to ensure Christianity became the world's dominant religion. The only solace I have is knowing these days are coming to an end. The world is waking up. We are again embracing the Devine Femanine. We now know what all those old white guys were afraid of. We are taking back our earth, one ritual at a time. We're coming for you Church! Your days are numbered.

Great book

I heard about this on a podcast and it sparked my interest. I flew through it and it was laid out in a packed down to earth manner that made it very easy to comprehend. Will definitely listen to it again.

Brings credibility to old hippy legends...

Brian C. Muraresku's The Immortality Key investigates the influence of the pagan's sacrament and belive of life after death had on early Christianity. Yes, another book about the Church hiding the truth, I love them! Though there is a lot of conjecture and speculation, it would seem that the hippy legend of an ancient psychedelic drink that expands consciousness is very true. Brian's research shows that there was a shared sacrament across cultures that spread from Minor Asian to Europe. What I found most interesting was how he used his knowledge of pagan and classic symbolism to reexamine Christian text for the search for clues. Though Jesus has been shown to be a derivative of Dionysus before, the evidence and ancient texts presented show that the early Christians weren't just influenced but rather coopted pagan rituals and sacraments. Those of us that like to delve into historical conspiracies, you won't be disappointed by the audiobook.

Learning foreign language

It had so much information I had to go back and listen again quite a few times especially during some of the longer latin lessons. The author really dotted his t’s and crossed his i’s. Very little room for argument about this topic now. Religion is psychedelic!
