Another good story

I am really happy that the storyline progressed along with little interruption. I can't wait to see what happens in book 3

Good story

I really enjoyed the story, I am just sad now that I must wait for book three. I love the character development and was totally vested in the story. I love the reader and look forward to listening to him once again.

Enough with the cliffhangers.

Well, at least Cam and Charity got it together. I wonder what the Sage Dukes are going to do now that everything is going to stop going there way.

Fun story focusing on character growth

While there are more story beats in the first book, this second one really focused on the characters and their bonds. Their wholesome friendships shine here.

Travis Baldree really brings the story to life

Little slower paced than the first but makes up for it at the end. Great book

Unexpected twist!

This 2nd book provided an unexpected way to add to the universe building/interaction. It does limit the interaction of returning characters thou, so it got a bit repetitive. Good story telling and great performance. I think it will be good set-up for book 3 though. I see now with some searching that this already part of the An Anchored World’s universe so need to see what else there is!

not really any negatives, more preference than anything, I just have a low tolerance for political schemes/machinations/manipulatation overt or covert well at least the kind that isn't quelled right away. anyway aside from my pet peeve the books is very enjoyable .

Slow in the beginning, much like the 1st book, but.....!

this was slow like the first book in the beginning but later on things really amp up! I'm not sure if I'm the only one that seems to have missed what kind of abilities each of the ephemera tangs are supposed to give you in the first book but was touched on a little as book two progressed. The only thing I knew for certain was that Plasminia would make them feel weak. other than helping them advance I'm still not even sure what it is supposed to do perhaps a little research will shed some light on it for me I'm kind of hoping I'm not the only one though because I like to think I pay attention enough lol
