But the case is dredged up from the past when the Price family agrees to a true crime documentary. Bel can’t wait for filming to end, for life to go back to normal. And then the impossible happens. Rachel Price reappears, and life will never be normal again.

star story and performance
My best girls do it yet again. Emily Henry, queen of banter, delivers another endearing story, and my favorite narrator, Julia Whelan, brings it 🏡.
And it's set in Northern Michigan, has libraries, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and summer festivities...all things near and dear to my heart. Emily Henry speaks my love languages.
It's hard to pick my faves of Emily's, but this definitely is in the top 3.

Lived up to EVERYTHING!
I love Emily Henry! I have been waiting for this book for months, and it did not disappoint! I was hooked the entire time, I couldn’t stop listening. I loved going on the journey with her-the ups and the downs, the love, loss, growth… And Miles, ok yes, please and thank you!

My favorite Emily Henry yet
This story kept me intrigued the entire time. I found myself resonating a lot with the main character. Some of the lines written could have come from my therapist, it was just so real. The banter was great, the chemistry amazing, I found myself laughing out loud multiple times. Julia Whelan is phenomenal as always, and brought all the character to life.
