Beautiful story

This was my Mother’s Day gift to myself this year. I got to be all alone and listen to this entire book. It was wonderful. Cole and Violet’s journey took many twists and turns. I was most impressed with the actual plot of the story. The was the two of them met was something I had never read before, it was truly unique and fascinating. I loved hearing the “then” passages along with the now. Our narrators knocked it out of the park again. I swear Connor Crais can do no wrong. I especially loved it when Violet described Cole’s voice as so deep that he could be a phone sex operator!
I couldn’t recommend this book enough. Definitely go listen to, it’s worth it.

I’ve been waiting so long for the audio of Violet and Cole’s story. A Photo Finish has always been my favorite of the Gold Rush Ranch series and the audio was worth the wait! Vanessa Edwin and Connor Crais were perfectly cast. ❤️❤️❤️

I read the book but this audiobook hits so special. Perfect narrations for a perfect story.

Cole and Violet are one of my very favorite book couples. There’s so much to grumpy closed off former military vet Cole. And then there’s spunky Violet, the jockey always out to prove herself. She is the light Cole never knew he needed. I loved every word of this story. Every. Single. Word.

Heartfelt Small Town Romance!

All the feels! A Photo Finish by Elsie Silver is an emotional, heartfelt small-town romance that had me blushing and happy sighing from start to finish. Elsie reigns queen supreme of the slow burn! The journey to HEA for Violet and Cole was full of so much enemies-to-lovers steamy tension and longing that I couldn’t get enough of it. Plus, the deep, intense connection these two have are simply magical.

Vanessa Edwin and Connor Crais perform this audiobook in dual narration, embodying their characters fully. Vanessa’s light decadent voice harnesses all of Violet’s feisty, passionate desires that make you want to root hard for her to find true happiness with Cole. Connor drops his voice to a lower broody timbre that just oozes all the guarded grumpiness Cole has to offer. However, Connor also leans on a softer side when conveying a vulnerability in his voice as Cole’s layers are peeled back. Plus, both narrators had me hanging on every word with the duet-style text exchanges!

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a small-town romance with a hot surly military veteran, a fierce sassy jockey, Gold Rush Ranch, horse racing, ankle injuries, forced proximity, now and then chapters, online history, steamy tension, witty banter, bar outings, hiking trips, vulnerable truths, slow burn spice, letting your guard down, going after your goals, and a HEA that will finish first place in your heart, then you will love Violet and Cole’s story. I always look forward to more from Elsie Silver.
