an entire book voiced by Hoid!

this was just everything I needed. a feel good adventure and ultimately a romance that just makes ypu feel warm and happy. the story is told by Hoid which obviously adds a wonderful brand of humor you didn't know your life was missing. this will definitely be a comfort re-read and is a lovely addition to the cosmere :)

I loved the whimsical tone. I enjoyed how characters from other worlds showed up - it ties well into the Cosmere.

Epic Journey

This was such a fun read with so many fun twists and turns! I am stoked to get more armor Wit in the future!

A new favorite!

I cant wait for more. This is easily one of Brandon Sandersons bests works. He finally tones down the his classic overexplinations. I love experiencing a story with characters that behave like people. He has a bad habit of over explaining simple cause and affect. Or there decisions of why and why not. It finally goes away in this title. What your left with is his amazing and unique takes on sci fi blended with fantasy.

What a fun book! Wow!

This book takes what I already love in a Sanderson novel (stunning world building, lovable characters, gripping plots, etc.) and adds a free, even whimsical, tone that I couldn't get enough of. This is really something special!

So wonderful

I’ve loved all of Brandon’s books. This is my favorite. Terry Pratchett vibes for sure. Swashbuckling, stylish and beautifully written with plenty of humor. 10/10

A breath of fresh air

This story takes a more colorful and dramatic approach to Sanderson’s usual style, and expands on it in a playful way through the eyes of the Cosmere’s favorite storyteller.

Definitely made me laugh uproariously on multiple occasions throughout the story, which earned me many stares as I was in a public location for most of my listening experience.

A truly fun read

I have read a few of brandon sanderson's novels. I think I enjoyed this novel so much because I knew Hoid from other novels. Someone new to brandon sanderson works I feel wouldn't enjoy it quite as much. That being said, the story itself is still amazing. It's like an adult fairy tale, it is fun and whimsical while also talking of important life lessons and over coming personal trials. It's a light hearted read that I loved from start to finish.

Excellent Adventure, Fun, Great Writing

Tress is not a princess and does not need to be rescued, so she goes to rescue someone who does. If you are thinking about whether or not to read or listen, just do it. Trust me. @TaylorSwift13
